Farm dogs are your best hired hand (paid with food!). Naming a farm dog is a repeat venture. We’ve had many over the years. I always said that when a great name strikes us, we should write it down!
Well, I thought, how about here? A recent addition of a Great Pyrenees dog became our latest challenge. It’s all white, so there were some pretty clever names tossed out. I’ll break this out into dog types, because we have certainly had our share of working farm dogs.
Sheep Dog Names
The recent female Great Pyrenees addition is in no hurry to be named. It’s not a bad thing, I hear they’re not good to coming when you call their name, anyway! The Great Pyrenees tend to be white, so exploring white dog names:

 - Marshmallow (that was too long, so I suggested Mini… for mini-marshmallow!)
